Top 10 surprising reasons it’s good to get outside

When we were kids all we wanted to do was get outside and p,ay, and our parents were more than happy to let us do that. Computers and phones have changed that dramatically especially with the younger generations. And I think it’s time for a change! The clouds are going away and, the sun is coming out more which means it is starting to actually get warm. I say come out of hibernation and get outside. Facebook and Instagram should start filling up with photos of people out by the lake, or riding their bikes on forest trails. Research has even shown that getting outside is actually really good for you.

It helps with sleep patterns and getting a better nights sleep.

By getting into nature and fresh air your lungs will feel refreshed by not having to breathe in pollutants found indoors as well as in heavily populated areas.

When people are outside they are doing much more activities than they would be by being indoors.

And if being active outside really isn’t your thing then go find a patch of grass and lay it in, watch the clouds roll by, read a book

To be honest it is going to be so great to have the sun out, to dig the shorts out of storage and to have Popsicles always at the ready. To be able to kick the kids out to play, set up the hammock to read with a large glass of tea and not be in the house all of the time is something I am so excited for. Hibernation is not this momma’s thing. Adventure and sunshine fit me so much better. Until next time:

The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for a newer and richer experience.
