Helping others and loving our neighbors as ourselves should be an ongoing occurrence. The joy that is felt when we do this is better than any vice we use. Just as candy is sweet to a child, loving others like we love ourselves can be just as sweet

Being Patient is hard enough without adding the joyfully part. This means letting go of what we think life should be like and giving to others what they may not deserve. This means doing it with joy and without judgement and resentment

Finding Joy in the Simple. Staying in bed a little longer on a Saturday, listening to the laughter of kids playing, knowing that the work that is before you is not what rules your life as long as you are constantly looking to the finish line and Christ.

Is It Love Though? Does turning away and ignoring a situation love? Love conquers all, it is patient, it is kind, it isn’t proud. Love protects, trusts and perseveres. This means love won’t let you do it alone.

Rae's New Shine Childrens Book
One day Rae woke up and felt different. When she looked at the people around her they seemed to “shine brighter” than she did. When she finally prayed about it and asked her mom for help, she realized she didn’t know her own worth. She didn’t believe in herself and felt dim compared to others. Once she started to see she was talented and worthy her shine came back.
