Life giving joy is really what will keep us going in times that we feel there is no way. Family, friends and faith help to keep us in balance with what the world shoves in our faces. Joy is the strength we need
Stories are there to bring out emotions, to teach and to help us find faith in humanity. How they are told to us helps us to chose how we want to listen. What is the basis behind the story? What can we find for ourselves from the story?
Allow the spectacular to infuse your senses. Stop and smell the sunflowers. Take advice from a friend. Pray for your friends. Walk the dog(s). Stop and take a breath, because though life isn’t easy finding little joy breaks is.
Choosing teams can be so difficult especially as a kid that really wants to when the event. As adults we still want to win but the teams we deal with now, deal with who we let into our lives or not. The choices made now can affect for much longer.
Sprinkles are just happiness added on top. The can cover a mistake in the frosting or enhance the flavor of the banana split. They are colorful and fun. We can be the sprinkle to someone’s day. When we chose joy, we can spread it like sprinkles.
Fears can keep us from living or cause us to live knowing we need to overcome. There is no fear in love. If we are to love ourselves and others we can’t have fear rule. If fear rules there is no joy.
Spring joys help us get through the dry seasons, the cold spells. They are the things you think of that bring a smile to your face. They are what makes your heart skip a beat. Spring joys are what you hold to, to help give you strength when needed
People were talking and there was chaos everywhere. Where could he be? The guards said the body was gone. The tomb was empty. He is Risen! And only those who believe can hear the applause from heaven and the joy abounding
It is so easy to get into the state of being overwhelmed. A phone call can put us there, a long week can put us there, kids can put us there. Where do we go for our strength? Do we try and get through life on our own? Joy can be the strength we need.
