It’s in the little things that joy abounds. I recently sat down with a friend. We had good food, good conversation and without her knowing it she humbled and convicted me. It was what I needed and it helped me to see that my view needed more joy.
Our words and actions have the ability to help or hurt the people we meet. Imagine what they can do to the people we already know and engage with. Our time on this earth is short, why not do our best to treat people kindly, & encourage with our words
How Do They Know? It is a great thing when you have people who know you and can tell when you are off. It’s as if God knew that you needed the people you have and they need you too
Check On Your Friends, sometimes all they need is a hug, other times a long conversation. Step back and breathe. Be present.
Family Strength, it can be like mild green tea, or strong like black tea. Both are good and can be great for the body. Families when loud or quiet help to make us who we are. The strength comes in getting through life together and gaining love.
It Looked Sweet, until a bruise showed up and make it taste horrible. All it took was to eat around the bruise. People are like that too, bruised and broken just trying to make it. What if we chose to see the good, the sweet?
OOPs! I Did it Again, I stressed out, and needed to be told I did something good and that I am valued. If I just listened to that still small voice I would already know of my value in Christ.
How often do we meet up with people and realize this is a great thing? All too often a meeting brings up bad connotations. If we chose to enjoy the process and exhale the bad we can learn to embrace the power meetings and gatherings can hold
Friendships when they stand the test of time, they make those involved better people. Finding your tribe makes life so much more joyous.
