If Mom Can’t Find It, No One Can

Mom’s have the power to find anything. Just ask the kid that lost his toy or the husband that swears he left his tool “right there on the counter”. Christ has the ability to find anyone too, the difference is we have the choice to follow once found.

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time life was simpler but not easier. We had less of the world and more time to ourselves. As kids the most important thing to do was to not get caught being bored. What a joy today to chose a simpler path, unplug and find what’s important.

Spring Joys

Spring joys help us get through the dry seasons, the cold spells. They are the things you think of that bring a smile to your face. They are what makes your heart skip a beat. Spring joys are what you hold to, to help give you strength when needed

Laughing often

Laughing is cardio, laughing and being joyous is healing and healthy. To be joyful doesn’t always mean you’re happy, but being happy means you have joy.

Little bits of Joy

I love when little bits of joy are sprinkled into my life. I love it more when they seem to be spontaneous even if they have been planned. A smile from a child, fresh baked brownies, a good talk with family. All are little bits of joy.

To Be Found

Finding your joy and even finding something you thought you would never find is amazing. When the unexpected happens and joy is found even in the darkness to find this is miraculous.

Finding the Joy Breaks

Finding the Joy Breaks sounds hard at times especially when life seems out of control and always busy. It’s at these times when even a sunset seen on the way home can be joyful. Don’t forget that joy doesn’t have to be just in the big things.

Joy Comes

Joy Comes even when you feel like you have lost it. The world, life, family, work, negative words can all steal joy, but only for a little bit. Joy comes in the moments, in the self worth, in the knowledge of who you are in Christ

Bees and Flies

When we decide to be nice, spread joy and choose the attitudes we have, we are more like a little honeybee than the fly that chooses to stick by the decay and garbage. It’s not hard really, to choose joy, to choose to smile, but it is a choice all the same. So what do you want to be? A bee or a fly?

A Hug and a Toy

All too often we work to not break down, to stay strong, but when someone is there to break through our defenses, it’s a healing salve to our souls
