Holding My Breath, it always seems to happen when I am doing a difficult tasks or watching someone else do something hard. Breathing is necessary but so is change and growth and pushing yourself beyond your comfort levels
Loud, But Quiet, the loud sure does help us appreciate the quiet. The quiet helps us appreciate the loud but only if the loud is covered in dog kisses and laughter from kids playing nearby. Enjoy the quiet as long as there is loud to follow
Peace, Umm Maybe, sometimes I wonder if peace is over rated? Then I realize I have peace from the most routine daily activities, to the crazy let’s go zip lining activities. Peace comes from being ok, ok with yourself and what is going on around you.
Why do we always feel that it’s go, go, go without changing our way of thinking? Changing our mindset is not an easy task but is well worth it. Find your reason, make taking care of yourself important and if your mindset is negative look for ways to change it
There Is Always Something, something that tries to hold you back. What if we pushed forward anyways? What if we decided to trust in the One that gives us rest? Oh how quickly our hunger and thirst would be satisfied
When we decide to be nice, spread joy and choose the attitudes we have, we are more like a little honeybee than the fly that chooses to stick by the decay and garbage. It’s not hard really, to choose joy, to choose to smile, but it is a choice all the same. So what do you want to be? A bee or a fly?
It Looked Sweet, until a bruise showed up and make it taste horrible. All it took was to eat around the bruise. People are like that too, bruised and broken just trying to make it. What if we chose to see the good, the sweet?
OOPs! I Did it Again, I stressed out, and needed to be told I did something good and that I am valued. If I just listened to that still small voice I would already know of my value in Christ.
The Beauty of Life, it’s all around us. It’s in the moments shared with your teen. It’s in the tears shared with a friend. I want to see that beauty more than the ugly of life, so I need to be in the moment, looking for the beauty
